The SS Thistlegorm was a British armed Merchant Navy ship built in Sunderland in 1940 by Joseph Thompson & Son. The Thistlegorm was sunk on 6 October 1941.
Sharm el-Sheikh is a resort situated on the southern tip of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on the coast of the Red Sea.
